How to Read a Dynasty Trade Value Chart

A trade value chart turns every player into a single number so you can compare deals at a glance. Here is how to read one — and what makes a live chart better.

What the number means

Each value is a relative price, not a stat projection. On the Crowd9 value chart the scale runs 0–10,000, anchored so the top asset sits near the ceiling. You compare players by the gap between their numbers, not the numbers themselves.

Why live beats weekly

Most charts publish once a week and freeze. The Crowd9 chart updates with every vote, so it reflects breaking news and shifting opinion as it happens — no waiting for the next refresh.

Using the chart to balance a deal

Add up the values on each side. If the totals are within a few percent, the trade is roughly fair. Larger gaps need a reason — a positional need, a contention timeline, or a belief the chart is wrong. Let the chart frame the conversation, not end it.
